The Loud House Movie Review

Why Watch The Loud House Movie-

The Loud House Movie is a great balance between moral-driven story and outlandish cartoon spectacular. Lincoln is feeling unappreciated and useless and goes on an adventure with his family to find his true worth. This leads them to Europe where their heritage and their present collide in fun moments and songs. Throughout all of this, the humor and visuals stay innocent and light-hearted, even when characters are sad or angry. The personality of the characters and the wackiness of the story come together very well to create quite the enjoyable movie.

-Is The Loud House Movie Appropriate?-

The Loud House movie is rated G and does not contain many inappropriate moments. With two of the characters, the baby and the goth sister, there is some potty and dark humor, respectively. Including a seance that brings a ghost into the movie. The ghost is not portrayed in a scary way. With that said, nothing is overtly inappropriate. There is one instance of a ‘cuss word replacement’ when they say “What the Sheep?!”. Overall, The Loud House movie is quite appropriate and could be watched by most viewers.

-Do You Have to Watch the Loud House Show First?!-

No! You do not have to have seen the show to enjoy or understand the movie! There are thirteen members of the loud family. This makes The Loud House Movie quite character-driven. With that said, most of the siblings don’t get as much time to shine as they do in the show, but this is to be expected for such a relatively short kids’ movie. You don’t have to have seen the Loud House TV show to understand the characters or their storylines.
