The Groundworld Heroes Review
The Groundworld Heroes tells the story of several moles (and other creatures) who find themselves thrust from their home. Many of the moles find themselves hitting different obstacles and problems, but with one main villain: humans. The world built within this book is quite a fun one. I especially enjoyed the running gag of everything being measures in mole-x (i.e. mole blinks, mole yawns, mole-weeks, etc). Benjamin, the main protagonist of the story is quite endearing as he consistently is wanting to looking out for his fellow moles, even when put in harrowing predecements.
Overall, this book is very fun. I think it would be even more fun to read with the young kids in your life (or older kids can read it themselves). It is a very fun and imaginative story with an entertaining conclusion!

Benjamin hopped into the driver’s seat and revved the engine. He zoomed off at the speed of a galloping hare.
He sniffed the air. He could smell the citizens. The smell of home.
