Jungle Beat the Movie Review

Why Watch Jungle Beat the Movie-

Jungle Beat the Movie is a fun, simple film that is appropriate for everybody in the family. The movie has a pretty straight forward plot that allows for some quick diversions here and there. These provide a lot of comedy and heart throughout the film that makes it a pretty fun movie to watch. HOWEVER- this is one you can put on for the kids and not watch with them. It’s fun, but not anything super unique that makes it a must watch for adults.

-Is Jungle Beat Appropriate?-

With the exception of some mild comical violence and laser type space guns- this movie is very innocent. It’s one you don’t have to watch with the kids and one you might not want to. The jokes are cute but overly cheesy.

-Story/ Plot of Jungle Beat-

The story follows a group of animals who gain the ability to speak as they find an alien who is longing to get back home. As the animals journey to find Fneep’s spaceship, they run across people who challenge their authority. The overall plot is overall pretty straightforward, but this is often true of movies with a G-rating. Despite this, Jungle Beat the Movie still provides a fun watch with some small surprises and quite a few heart-filled moments along the way.

-Characters-

The characters in Jungle Beat the Movie are a fun collection of animals. We are first introduced to Munki as he gains the ability to talk. He then finds Elephant, Hedehog, Rhino, and lastly Fneep (the alien). This crew provides a fun experience while also having some character development along the way. The animals, who now can all talk with each other, learn more about their friends and find out their weaknesses and strengths.

Most of these character were regulars on the tv show, but they have added a few new ones. The rhino, who has the personality of a dog, is very fun as he has some unexpectedly funny moments. There are a few other smaller characters, such as the alpha leader of the Wildebeests, who offer some fun moments (especially in the credits scene). Overall, the characters lead the way in this movie and provide some funny moments and some character development.
