Max’s family has a new addition! And Snowball’s learning to be a hero. Follow your favorite characters from the first movie and meet some new friends along the way as they learn how to be brave! A cute summer movie. There are laughs for the parents and kids. But know that there is a lot of foul language and that it’s slightly scarier than the first installment. Thoughts from the Elf:
-Overall, this is a really fun summer movie.
-I did not think it quite reached the level of hilarity and fun that the first movie did, but it was still well done. But I had fun and the kids that were with me had fun.
– Personally, I felt like the anti-circus sentiment was taken a little too far. This movie seemed darker than the first installment.
-We all agreed that we wish Max had been a bigger part of the adventure his friends were on.
-Harrison Ford and Tiffany Haddish were great additions to the voice acting cast.
-My personal favorite two moments were when Gidget caught the red light and after the credits when they showed the real life pet adventures <- That was a genius addition at the end.
